Preschool Details: Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities. Children receive free medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks, and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting. Our goal is to bring about a greater degree of social competence in children and families. Social competence takes into account the inter-relatedness of cognitive and intellectual development, physical and mental health, nutritional needs, and other factors that enable a positive developmental approach to helping children and families succeed.
Eligible Requirements: To be eligible for Head Start, children must be 3 years old on or before September 1
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: In order for applications to be processed, we will need your child’s birth certificate and proof of your family income from the previous 12 months (Form 1040, W-2).
