Preschool Details: Head Start is a federal program that promotes the school readiness of children ages 3 to 5 from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social and emotional development. Head Start programs provide comprehensive services to enrolled children and their families, which include health, nutrition, social services and other services determined to be necessary by family needs assessments, in addition to education and cognitive development services. Head Start services are designed to be responsive to each child and family’s ethnic, cultural and linguistic heritage.
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: Please prepare and have ready to bring with you: 1) your child's birth certificate, 2) your child's social security card, 3) your child's health insurance information, 4) your child's immunization record and 5) proof of income for you and/or your spouse (W-2's from previous year OR most recent 4 months of pay stubs).
