Home Based - Franklin/grand Isle - Champlain Valley Head Start (Preschool) Location: Saint Albans, VT - 05478 Contact Phone: (802) 651-4180 Details: Head Start Home-Based Program: Preschool children and families enrolled in this program receive one, 90-minute home visit per week with a Home Visitor and take part in playgroup activities twice per month. The Head Start home based program runs September through May. This program may be ideal for families with preschool children who desire more one-on-one, individualized service with a Head Start Home Visitor, and support around using the home as a learning environment to support optimal health and child development. Early Head Start Home-Based Program: Participants enrolled in this program receive one, 90-minute home visit per week with an Early Head Start Home Visitor and take part in playgroup activities twice per month. The Early Head Start program runs year round. This program may be ideal for pregnant women in need of additional support to assure access to quality prenatal and postpartum care, and to support a healthy birth experience for mother, child and family. This program may also be ideal for families with infants or toddlers who desire more one-on-one, individualized service with a Home Visitor, and support around using the home as a learning environment to support optimal health and child development. |
