The Children’s Center is the grantee for the Western Tidewater Early Head Start program, which provides family-centered services to low-income pregnant women and families with children under the age of three. Early Head Start promotes the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth of young children as well as supports parents’ roles as primary caregivers and educators.
