Preschool Details: In Head Start, your child learns from highly qualified teachers while receiving medical and nutritional care. Your child enjoys a well-balanced, nutritional breakfast, lunch and snack at the Head Start Center. Referrals for medical, dental and mental health services are provided to enrolled Head Start children when applicable. Your family learns to build a solid foundation for your child to thrive and grow. In Head Start, we encourage parents to volunteer as community partners.
Eligible Requirements: If you live in Orange County, have a child who will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1st and your household income is at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, please call (407) 836-6590 for an application. We accept applications throughout the year and a waiting list is developed to fill vacancies in the classrooms.
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: Register now for our pre-school program for children ages 3-5. You will need: Your child's birth certificate or Passport; 12-months Proof of income, prior to the date of completing application; Proof of residency in Orange County
