Preschool Details: I-CARE, Inc. Head Start is one of the largest early childhood education programs in Iredell and Catawba Counties serving 351 children. We have established quality educational environments with a proven track record of serving low-income families. Unlike many traditional child care and other early education programs, Head Start focuses on preparing children for school, working to develop each child’s social and learning skills through: High Quality Education; Individualized Curriculum; Family Case Management; Disability Services and Support; Mental Health Services for Children and Families; Meal Plans; Health Screenings and assistance (Including Dental, Vision and Hearing)
Eligible Requirements: Head Start services offer free services to families who reside in Iredell and Catawba counties and meet federal low-income guidelines. Families who receive public assistance or other benefits may also be eligible.
