Preschool Details: Y Head Start in Anne Arundel County helps children from low income families achieve the best possible start in life so they can enter school ready to learn and succeed! We provide an Early Head Start program for pregnant woman, infants and toddlers, and a traditional Head Start program for preschool children ages 3–5. Our goal is to ensure that every child is school-ready. We work hand-in-hand with low income families and local communities to strengthen the family unit through comprehensive services that include: early intervention; education; parent involvement & family focus; community partnerships; health & nutrition; disabilities (10% of our funded enrollment includes children with disabilities).
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: To enroll in a Anne Arundel County Head Start program, send an email to annearundelheadstart@ymaryland.org and included your name, phone number, email address and zip code. A Y Head Start associate will contact you to explain the process and schedule a time to meet with you.
