Preschool Details: Head Start helps prepare children for kindergarten by helping them develop cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our program is geared towards giving both the child and family a "head start" by focusing on individuals needs to build self-sufficiency.
Eligible Requirements: To be eligible for Head Start families must: Live in the community where they apply; Children must be between three and five years of age; Families must meet the income poverty guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; or Have the family receive/qualify for public assistance (SSI/TANF); Be a foster child; Meet the federal definition of homeless; Have a diagnosed disability.
