Preschool Details: CAP of Mercer County and Farrell Area School District have been providing Early Childhood Education Services to eligible families in Mercer County since 1965 (50 years) within the 12 school districts in Mercer County. We provide academic Early Childhood Education to prepare your child for Success in Kindergarten by providing comprehensive service that include Education, Nutrition, Mental Health, Social Services and services to children with Special Needs.
Eligible Requirements: To qualify for any of our programs, families must meet either the Federal and State eligibility criteria: Resident of Mercer County PA; Early Head Start: Pregnant Women and Children ages 0-3, family income at or below the 100% FPL; Head Start: Children ages 3-5, family income at or below 100% FPL; PA Pre K Counts: Children ages 3-5, family income at or below 300% FPL.
