Preschool Details: The Early Head Start program is a federally funded, comprehensive, individualized services school readiness program serving children birth to three years old from income eligible families. The Early Head Start program involves parents and the community in four key component areas: Education, Parent Involvement, Health Social Services. Additionally, 10% of Early Head Start’s enrollment is reserved for children professionally diagnosed as disabled, who receive comprehensive services to meet their special needs.
Age Requirements: Birth to 3 years old
How to Apply: To Apply for Head Start or Early Head Start You Will Need: Income Verification (1040, SNAP award letter, etc); Foster Care Paperwork (if applicable); Proof of Child’s Birth Date; Proof of Residence; Job, K-TAP, school/training verification (full-day/full-year children only)
