Preschool Details: Head Start is a federally-funded comprehensive child development program. MCAC serves 1323 children between the ages of 3-5 years old at 20 centers throughout Montgomery County. The program provides the following services: Academics; Family Services; Nutrition; Medical Health and Dental Screenings; Disability Services; Parental Involvement. Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally funded community-based program for low-income families, infants and toddlers and pregnant women. Our goal is to: Promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women; Enhance the development of very young children and promote healthy family functioning.
Age Requirements: Birth to 5 years old
How to Apply: Certified Birth Certificate; Visual Proof of Income; Visual Proof of identification of parent or legal guardian; Social Security card of the child; Up-to-date blue slip; Medicaid card/medical insurance card; Social Security Number and birth date of all household members; Documentation of Special Needs; EBT card if applicable
