Preschool Details: Monroe County Head Start serves 222 preschoolers (low income) and their families in 12 classrooms throughout the county. Head Start provides comprehensive services to all enrolled children and works with families to achieve their goals.
Eligible Requirements: Monroe County residency; Meet family income requirements
Age Requirements:
How to Apply: Parents fill out Pre-Registration Form; If you qualify, PSFC sends you a letter with an appointment date; During your interview, the application is completed. Please bring the following documents with you to your appointment: Your child’s birth certificate; Social Security numbers for everyone in the household; Your child’s immunization record; Your child’s medical insurance card; Your child’s physical (within the past 12 months); Information pertaining to other services your child may be receiving (including: WIC, Easter Seals, IU20); If receiving Food Stamps, bring confirmation letter from DPW; Income verification for ALL sources of income in the PAST 12 MONTHS.
