Preschool Details: Head Start is a quality pre-k program for 3-and 4-year-old children. Head Start is provided at no cost and is available to families with incomes at or below federally set income guidelines. The program’s primary goal is to promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children. Classrooms are equipped with a variety of materials and resources encouraging students to explore, create, play, and learn. Each classroom has a teacher, teaching assistant, and classroom aide. Additional center staff includes a family advocate, nurse, and cook. Head Start has locations through-out Oswego County, enrolling children from all 9 school districts.
Age Requirements: 3-4 years old
How to Apply: Pre-Enrollment Forms will start your application process. After you complete the form and return it to our Head Start main office, a Family Advocate will contact you to complete the full application with you.
