Preschool Details: The Newport Child Development Center is a leased facility located on the major throughway, NC Highway 70. This licensed, four star center* serves 63 children two years through five years old: 53 Head Start children and ten childcare-only children. Two Head Start classrooms are part-year, part-day only classes, one blended Head Start and NC-Pre-K class is part-year, full-day, operating five days a week for six and three-quarter hours per day. Ten two year olds can be served in child care services.
