Preschool Details: Pittsburgh Public Schools has a long-standing history of implementing successful and effective early childhood programs in the City of Pittsburgh that fosters the educational, nutritional, social-emotional, health/mental health, and physical development and well-being of all children, including those with special needs.
Eligible Requirements: All children must reside in the City of Pittsburgh and turn 3 prior to September 30th to enter the program. Children may stay in the program until they are eligible to enter kindergarten (age 5 on or before September 30)
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: Submit an application online. You will need to upload the following documentation with your application: A copy of your child’s birth certificate; A copy of your child’s immunization records; A copy of your child’s last physical and dental exams; Verification of income (pay stub, W2, DPA printout); Two current proofs of residency (utility bill, driver’s license, etc.).
