Preschool Details: Monongalia County Early Head Start is a federally funded program overseen by Monongalia County Schools. This free program serves pregnant mothers and children ages birth to three. Although most families must meet income guidelines to enroll, over-income spaces are also available. Our goal is to provide exceptional services to young children to enhance their cognitive, social/emotional, and physical abilities. Additionally, understanding that parents are their child's first teacher, our staff provides resources for parents to enhance their relationships with their children.
Eligible Requirements: Monongalia County families; Pregnant women; Families with children newborn to 3 years; Priority given to families who meet the Head Start income guidelines
Age Requirements: Birth to 3 years old
