Preschool Details: LSF Duval Head Start and Early Head Start provides Head Start and Early Head Start to over 1800 children and their families in Duval County. We have served Duval County since 2014. In 2015 LSF was awarded the Duval EHS Child Care Partnership grant to serve 100 infants and toddlers through child care partnerships with private child care centers and family child care homes. Our commitment to children in need knows no boundaries, which is why we offer the highest quality early educational services across the state of Florida, especially in communities that are traditionally underserved. Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is forming partnerships with organizations throughout the Duval County community, such as the Jacksonville Children’s Commission, Early Learning Coalition of Duval, Children’s Home Society, and Duval County Public Schools, among many others, to ensure that high-quality early childhood education is accessible to all families in need.
