Preschool Details: Franklin-Vance-Warren Opportunity, Inc., Head Start is a federally-funded child development program designed to prepare economically disadvantaged children for kindergarten. We also link families with services that will promote child and family success and lead to self-sufficiency. Counties served are: Franklin, Vance, Warren and Granville Counties. Services are provided for families who meet income guidelines. No fees are charged.
Eligible Requirements: Services are provided for families who meet income guidelines. No fees are charged.
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: If you have a child age 3 by August 31, and would like the apply for the upcoming program year, now is the time to do so. Parents of children with special needs are encouraged to apply. Provide us with the following: Verification of income; A copy of your child's shot record; A copy of your child's Medicaid card; Proof of child's birth (copy of birth certificate, health record, etc.); Each family member's social security number.
