Preschool Details: Enfield Head start, a high quality, comprehensive child development program, provides a foundation for children and families to achieve their full potential and be able to effectively contribute to a changing society.
Eligible Requirements: Enfield Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5. Enrollment is limited to 104 children and is free for those Enfield residents who meet the eligibility requirements. A minimum of 90% of the families are low-income; a maximum of 10% of the families may be over-income. Enrollment is based on selection criteria. Over-income children are selected according to the program's Recruitment Plan. A minimum 10% of Head Start enrollment serves children with special needs. Supportive services are offered to all the children as deemed appropriate by professional evaluators.

How to Apply: EnrolIment Application with the following items: A copy of your child's bitih certificate; A copy of proof of Enfield residency (examples include a utility bill with your address shown, or copy of your lease.); A copy of your driver's license or state PHOTO ID; Proof of income (a copy of your pay stub, tax 1040 form, or state letter); A copy of your child's most current physical including immunizations, and lead test
