Preschool Details: The program offers home visits for parent and child including planned activities that nurture and support children and help parents understand how their child is growing and learning. Developmental and health screening and assessments that ensure children are growing and learning are all part of the service. Children have the opportunity to enjoy classroom experiences and developmentally appropriate curriculum. The program offers assistance and preparation for labor, delivery and newborn care and home visits with a nurse to promote good health as well as nutritional guidance. The program offers opportunities for parents to work with trained staff to set goals and make plans for the future. Services: Home Visits; Classroom Sessions; Assessments; Health Screenings; Workshops and Training; Mental Health Support; Leadership Opportunities; Referrals to Healthcare Providers; Father Involvement Activities.
Eligible Requirements: Pregnant women and children ages birth to 3 that meet federal poverty guidelines.
