The center, which has had several additions and expansions over the year, was originally a small schoolhouse. An historical marker in the front lawn honors the fact that the building has been, "uninterrupted as a school longer than any other school building in Washington County." Programming schedule, options and services: Center-Based preschool program: Tuesday through Friday; AM groups meet 8:00 am - 11:30 am; PM groups meet 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm; Serving 98 preschool children; Program follows the 10 month public school calendar. Home-Based socialization day is held Wednesday, 9:00 am - 11:00 am; Hot, nutritious meals are prepared on site.; Bus transportation is available within limits. On site staffing includes: Site Manager; ERSEA/PFCE Manager; Education Coordinator; Home-Based Coordinator; 2 Family Advocates; 1 Mental Health Counselor; 1 Child Health Nurse; 1 Home Based Manager; 3 HS Lead Teachers, 3 HS Assistant Teachers, 3 HS Teacher's Aides; 7 Home Visitors; 2 Cooks; Secretary/Receptionist.
