Preschool Details: The Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative Head Start/Early Head Start Program serves 363 preschool children and 85 infants, toddlers and prenatal women in a predominantly rural eight county area adjoining the urban sprawl of Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky on the Ohio River in Northern Central Kentucky. A variety of program options including full day/full year center based programs, school day school year center-based programs and home-based Early Head Start programs are available to meet the specific needs of the population served as determined by the annual Community Needs Assessment.
Age Requirements: 3 to 5 years old
How to Apply: To Apply for Head Start or Early Head Start You Will Need: Income Verification (1040, SNAP award letter, etc); Foster Care Paperwork (if applicable); Proof of Child’s Birth Date; Proof of Residence; Job, K-TAP, school/training verification (full-day/full-year children only)
